Reputation gear discount

Hello, I really do not remember if I ever did the project of discount of the reputation gear, but the project does not appear for any of my 8 characters with each completed at all the level of reputation 6 (except in the discovery, not yet completed the level 6).
What is correct is that the discount does not apply, for example, I have two pieces of a reputation gear in each character, and all had cost the same, but, if I try to do a second project for the same gear in the same character the cost has discount.

    The reputation gear discount is account-wide when you do the project. So all should have the discount if you do on your main or one of the other characters. Then you won't need to do the project again. If that is not the case and again is connected to the second project bug, then this bug needs to be addressed. Thanks. :)

    This wouldn't, by chance, be for Competitive Reputation gear, would it? Competitive Reputation space equipment, specifically, the Deflectors, Warp/Singularity Cores, Shields, Impulse Engines and Secondary Deflectors, have a character-based discount after you buy any one of each. This is on top of the account-wide discount unlocked after finishing the project after reaching Tier 6 in the reputation.
    This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

    Stupid question. You did do the 5 Mark Upgrade Project to claim Tier 6?
