Where's the Lightning?

While I can understand the massive nerf to the 3-piece set bonus from the Stamets-Tilly Field Modifications, the nerf not only seems to have reduced the damage by 95%, but seems to have removed the visual attack itself. The lightning bolts are gone! I see that they're happening (if we can call it "happening" after the nerf) from the combat logs, but there's no visual, and that was a big part of the awesome beyond the fact that it was doing a million times more damage than it meant to.

Can we at least have the visuals back? I get that the actual effect will be trivial now, but I did enjoy how it looked.
