the torpedoes now only does 20% damage to it, requiring 5 hits to destroy it, requiring the ship to be destroyed 5 times. to make matters worse, all klingon ships fire on the player`s ship, resulting in 10 deaths of the player`s ship before the doomsday machine can be destroyed.

THis isn't exaclty a bug, its more bad game design. The mission gets significantly more difficult the higher your level because the BoP sucks.
