Foundry character slots still not returned after "sunset"

kodoskangkodoskang Member Posts: 31 Arc User
Hi,

I've spent some time before posting this, watched the Ten Forward stream recordings, please forgive me if I have missed some crucial information on this issue:

My two character slots used to get to the Foundry editor have yet to be returned after the Foundry was shut down. Velara (Federation, Vulcan, female, Scientist) and Korrak (KDF, Klingon, male, Tactician). Both just level 5, not used for anything else but to get straight into the Foudnry editor in order to tinker around for some ideas I had.

So far, in the last four to six weeks, I've learned that:

- at least the German customer support doesn't know a single thing about Foundry character slots being returned, they (weren't) aren't aware that there's problems doing so, and don't do nothing in order to compensate.
- other Foundry authors already have their character slots back.

So, why haven't my character slots back to me? I've got the Foundry badge etc. - can I return those in order to get just the character slots?

You need to re-read what the OP says. He knows that the foundry was shut down in April. What he is asking for is that the character slots that he used in the foundry be returned to him. This is a bug since some people have had their character slots returned to them already and he has not.

    Hello again,

a little update on the issue: I still don't know why, but as I understand now, I most likely won't get my character slots back anytime soon, if ever. I mean, there are some authors out there that didn't get their slots back, but there's like zero communication on that matter - I've wasted my whole weekend on looking for anything around the Foundry closure.

While the English support team is much more customer-orientated than the German one so I've got a solution for my situation, I'm still sad that the characters and both slots are gone... Guess it's time to move on...

@wingedhussar#7584 This person was having a similar issue to the one who did not get their Genesis reward but instead did not receive their character slots back when the Foundry closed and sadly has given up on it.
