Defera System - Freezes Game

Two of my characters are trapped in some sort of bug associated with the Defera system. I tried transwarping into the system directly and got stuck in a loading screen. I launched in safe mode and force verified but neither helped. I brought a second character into the system from sector space and am having the same issue. After login on both characters, I am stuck on the loading screen showing about 40% loaded.
