Back in the day when we had an event where we got Odyssey star cruiser for federation. I did the event and got it on my Vulcan security charater but the ship is more keen to engineers. I read if I can get this ship on my newly created Andorian engineer but people said this event ships is not like we can do with other newer ships we we can get them again or zen ship where I can claim it again and such. But I asked in game some one said I should be able to get the fleet version for free if I own the event version but that does not seam to be the case still says I need fleet marks and does damn ship modules that costs and arm and a leg.
So the only way for me to get it on my alt is to pay 3000 zen or get the fleet version that is also expensive in 4 fleet ship modules witch is what 18mill+ ec per module or 500 zen per module.
Yes I know we have an event now to get 1 free zen ship but im saving that for 1 Andorian t6.
Okey so reputations to t6 only way yeah same a shame on wasting it. Think it´s strange I got the ship why not make the zen sore free claim as long as I own it on my account I mean it´s not all 3 ships just the engineer version and people would say why not buy it just 3000 zen sure but when you have 2 kids you don´t spend money on your self so see to that your kids have food cloth and toys and such. Then you can ask why not farm 3million or is it even more dilithium ore and buy zen with that. Then again Kids = not TRIBBLE toon of time to play and when I play I don´t want to waste it away farming dilithium.
So the only way for me to get it on my alt is to pay 3000 zen or get the fleet version that is also expensive in 4 fleet ship modules witch is what 18mill+ ec per module or 500 zen per module.
Actually you're in luck with this one. The c-store odyssey is the fleet version. Ie. it's the one with +1 console and +10% HP. The one that's available for being in a fleet of appropriate level is standard tier 5. Ie. the one that was originally given away. As with other standard tier 5 ships (unlocked via progress in the fleet's shipyard) they cost 200k fleet credits and -zero- fleet ship modules. Fleet-quality ships (+1 console, +10% HP) are what require 4/5 modules both between tier 5/6 respectively.
So, to get the odyssey that was originally tied to the 2nd anniversary you don't need to spend any zen or EC (on the exchange) to get modules. Just donate to your fleet and save up those credits for the T5 Oddy. That's still going to take resources and time but you won't be grinding out for the long 3,000 zen dil->zen exchange (you can save your dil/zen for other things.)
That said, if you simply need a new tier 5 ship for your Andorian character that plays more to engineering you can also check out the T5 ships folks have posted to the exchange. The T5 mirror universe cruisers are just seat-swapped variants of the starter ships but the ones from other factions (ex. APU cruiser, Voth Bastion cruiser, Undine Nicor) do offer some new setups (compared to leveling.) These are also pretty darn cheap these days, including some of the old lock box ships (ie. Bastion and Nicor.)

There is no Fleet version because it's already at Fleet level in the C-Store, and the one available at Ship requisitions does not have a Fleet Module requirement. The person you spoke to was wrong.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
True, i have the giveaway Oddy, and is exactly the same, you better have the T6 version of the ship, the bundle is incredibly good. BTW, about giveaways, the Kamarag T6 when???
