Mirror Crossfield - No Dual Cannons?

I could swear that the blog about the Mirror Crossfield Promotion Ship stated that it "Can use dual cannons" in the posted specs - up until the patch became active. I realize that it is also stated "subject to change" at the bottom. I should have checked the blog again after the patch and before I opened my promotion box. Can anyone else confirm that they saw the "Can use dual cannons" in the posted specs also? My regular Crossfield can use cannons, and it's what makes it fun for me to use. I hope they don't take the ability to use cannons away from the regular Crossfield. It also said subject to change, when it was first released.

Also, I'm hoping that the open shuttle bay option becomes available to the standard Crossfield some day soon.
