I'm pretty sure that I missed at least one event ship on console, but mostly have participated each time to get the free ship only to then sample them and then either go back to my preferred vessel or another that struck my fancy. That being said, how would those of you who've also claimed these ships rank them in order of effectiveness? Thanks in advance for weighing in too.
I...ummm...there's no way to actually rate them in any order. The only thing anyone can do is pick their favorite.

Several of the ships listed have something worthwhile:
Ho'kuun: Protomatter field generator
Bajoran: DOMINO console
Plesh Tral: Cold-hearted trait
Krenim: Flagship set console
What it really comes down to is the type of ship you prefer to fly. Personally, the best free event ship that I've actually gotten for my preferred style of flying is the Breen Chel Boalg - not listed in the survey.
Which reminds me, I should load her up and fly her again for a while.
All of those ships have something good going for them that I like. The one I really love isn't there either. The Nandi. That is one tough ship, plus I get access to bank, mail and exchange. Also dabo! And the Ferengi DOFF person.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
My favorite is the first T6 event ship, the Sarr Theln SCIENCE! carrier. Fun to fly and one of the better frigate pets if you also have the T5 or T6 frigate.
After that, I put the Kobali Samsar health recovery console on many ships as an an emergency heal power.
Breen Carrier with frigate hangars and 4-piece console sets is - I think - the best event ship for now…
But maybe we will see something better in the future?
Too bad the one and only event ship which used the mechanics (that was new at the time of event) was the Solenae Sci-Destroyer - it got the secondary deflector and mode switching.
After that the event ship did not ever use the special mechanics… unless you count the Experimantal weapon on Bajoran Interceptor.
But there never was an event ship with Intelligence mechanic, Command, Pilot, or any other… too bad
You're most missing out on the Bajoran Interceptor [T6], as it's a pretty nice 5/2 escort on it's own, has a very nice console usable on any vessel, and a core that completes the Bajoran set (not a meta set, but interesting).
Beyond that, the rest are mostly one thing that you can take off them, like wideningxgyre mentions with the trait and console list above. They're decent ships, but not really stand out if you already have the other Event ships.

took my nandi and made a torp boat out of it. OMG it rocks!!!!

Yeah, I'm also going with this. Almost each event ship has a thing you might wanna get your hands on depending on your preferences.
I agree. As far as pure ship effectiveness goes, both of those are really good. And like others have said, Bajoran Interceptor for the console and T6 Breen Raider for the trait.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.
And the award for the biggest pile of lawn fudge goes to....The Samsar!
It has a turn rate of .00001
The console is nice though.
The Samsar has a turn rate of .00001? Maybe, considering it's scrap at the recycling center after I flew it long enough to grab the trait, hoping that the heap had some sort of redeeming qualities to it. Sometimes though, hope is a mistake.
Could swear that the Rezreth has a turnrate the same if not 1 higher, than the T6 faction flagships, assuming you don't build the Rezreth to be "engine shenanigans with a side of ship."

DOMINO is almost a must have for Phaser Builds if you have access to it.
And I like the console from the Samsar. Most of my generalist builds have one to give an extra hull heal.

Yes, personally i think that the entire Vorgon ser of ships in the Carrier comes second...
I use the DOMINO on nearly every character. Even if they don't use phaser, the spike damage from the clicky is great. Especially when combined with a few other class abilities, boff powers and spec trees.

Shh!!! Do you want them to 'readjust' that Console?

For some odd reason, I really like the Vorgon Carrier. I don't know what it is.. but I just think it's a cool ship.
Overall, I wouldn't vote for any of them as I never actually fly event ships. I unlock them for Admiralty Cards, and for the occasional one that comes with something really nice (D.O.M.I.N.O., Protomatter Console, Cold Hearted Trait, etc) but I never actually fly them.
I am one of those weird players that likes to keep my characters in mostly faction specific ships. I appreciate these event ships and praise Cryptic for continuing to make new ones available every year, but I never actually fly any of them. I already have more C-Store, Lockbox, and Lobi ships then I have characters.. to me these are all just admiralty cards.
My favorite is probably the Nandi, it swooshes around and has a nice layout, with all the fluff bridge stuff mentioned earlier it really does do away with those pesky baddies of the day.
Second: Ho'kuuhn. One of the best Sci ships for my standard Sci approach out there (second only to the Scryer) and a console that really helps when you're leveling a ship you cannot really use on said captain.
Sarr Theln I like, but I don't really know why. Maybe because it was my first T6, and my first carrier. I get more results from the Ryn'kodan, which is also a nice ship.
The Samsar is something special as well. It is a bit like a moon. It turns around once in a month, does little damage, and is near indestructible. A good ship to tag along in a TFO you don't know, also a good ship if you really do know what to do, but not as much fun as others.
Denorios is a mean little TRIBBLE, agile and deadly, and it also feels like that, which some of the other escorts out there lack for me.
Not so much a fan of the other Breen and Vorgon ships, nor the Krenim Sci vessel, but all of these are capable ships and easily stand up to the Z Store ones. Okay, some in the store are better, but on average they can compete.

YES! I've always liked that console, and I try to include it in very build for survival.

Yep, most people that bring Samsar's into TFO's do so because they basically have no idea. Anytime I am in a TFO and see a player in a Samsar, I know exactly who I need to carry. It can take a beating sure, but it's woefully inadequate for anything else. Still has my vote for worst ship in STO.

It's pretty much a must for all energy builds. The Phaser bonus is really inconsequential, it's the clicky that's the real power. I use it in all builds, even non Phaser.

If you have the Ho'kuum you should try the Protomatter Field Projector. It not only provides a better heal then the Samsar Console but also heals your team mates.

Sort of yeah. Making it worthless would stop people from crying about not having it.
