Starship trait parting gift buff

I utilize multitractor beam arrays console along with a forced challenge reputation trait while using the starship trait parting. Yet, only my regular tractor beam is receiving the parting gifts buff. Forced challenge and multi tractor beam array are technically tractor beams and/or forms of tractor beams and i think they should be receiving the buff from parting gift. Parting gift trait states tractor beam and does not specify. I believe it would be adequate to apply the buff to all tractor beams

Usually traits buff BOff abilities. Not clicky consoles or rep traits. If it says it buffs Tractor Beam, then it buffs Tractor Beam. It doesn't buff consoles that use a tractor beam effect. It also doesn't buff the fek'lhri flame chain thing from the event ship or the NX Grappler console, even though just like the multi target Tractor Array they are functionally identical.

The fact that you had to say "technically" is reason enough to doubt that it would have synergised with those abilities in the first place.
