AoY event captain stuck in sector space, unable to return to 23c ESD

Hello. I had a captain i started during the AoY event that I never got around to finishing the starter missions for. I put him on ice for a bit planning to return and finish him later, but took longer to do so than i expected. When I returned to finish him a couple years ago, he had been moved from 23c ESD out to 23c Sector space, and was unable to enter the Sol system to finish the quest. I tried putting in support tickets then but had issues with accessing it or getting in-game and website support tickets submitted, so i gave up. I recently returned after another break, and now the captain is stuck in normal sector space, still unable to access Sol or any other system. I am unable to drop and retake the quest, the button is greyed out. There is no transwarp option, and changing sector just puts me into another 24c sector instance. After recently getting a ticket finally submitted, support decided there was nothing they could do, and asked that I submit a bug report here. That ticket # is # 190211-000658.

I think this issue could be corrected if the player could just be teleported back to 23c ESD, but am willing to do whatever i can to hopefully retain this event captain. I would really rather not delete and remake, however i have attempted to make a new 23c captain just to verify the quest can be completed by me. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
