Missing items in the Winter Store

in C-Store, ZEN, and Promotions
As the title says, there are missing items in the Winter Store. The latest kit modules, pet(s), ground weapon, and outfits. Is there a reason why these are removed, when previous winter events didn't have this issue? Or is this a bug that has yet to be fixed?

    It happens every Winter or Summer Event. After the Event ends they seem to go back to the pre-Event 'catalog ' and have to fix it a couple of months later. It never fails and they never pre-plan for it to be done correctly when the Event ends.

    Damn it...I was planning on using surplus trinkets to buy gifts for people in my fleet, now that I've finally consolidated them. :(
