Ps4 sto weapon glitch

My maco phaser rifles main attack wont work but all my other attacks and weapons work. I havent found anyone with the same problem so does anyone have answers?

Yes, I hava same problem, MACO rifle's primary attack doesn't work, secondary does. Fleet mate tested his MACO gun and discovered the same. The MACO rifle's been broken since Age of Discovery. Most people just switch to another gun and shrug it off.

Are you sure it's not working? On the Xbox, the rifle doesn't have the firing animation, so it doesn't look like it's working, but it is putting out damage.
