Today I was given a sad message, and I really don't have a taste for bringing real life issues into the forums, but in this case I make an exception.
One of my fleet members, @ Mr.Taboo has died age 54 on October 27'th this year.
He was one of the members who has been with my fleet the longest, 8+ years, and the emptiness left by his death is already felt.
He loved playing STO and he loved being a part of the game and as his fleet leader it is painful to be confronted with this reality, since I think he was a fine example of what a Star Trek fan should represent: Friendliness and a willingness to help.
Now I have never really seen him here in the forums, but I know he was a very active player, so I know at least a few here will have played with him, so if any of you have known him, or have him on your friend-list, you now know the sad circumstance as to why he won't pop in anymore.
Rest in peace, and smooth sailings my friend.
