AOD toon Cannot Progress in Melting Pot

For my AOD toon. In Melting Pot during Balance Shift I defeat the first wave. When Protect the Planetary Defenses appears nothing happens. I dropped the mission and retried with no change. I dropped the mission and logged out and retried again and I am still stuck in the same spot.
