Mission list revamp.

TL;DR - how will it affect Delta Recruits/etc.?

Owing to lack of inclination and "I'll do it later" my Delta Recruits (the Temporal and Gamma guys are mostly done) are still barely started. While I know the missions aren't being removed except for a few of the Klingon War arc, which my Fed recruit has already done so that isn't an issue for me, I would like to know if I can carry on as usual, or if I have to rush through nearly all the missions on 3 characters and finish the rest on a 4th before presumably October 9th...

    My understanding is that nothing has actually been removed, just removed from the mission arc. Apparently, the removed missions are still in the game you just have to go find them.. somehow.

    I just assumed that nothing that was 'restructured' was vital to any of the Delta or Temporal rewards, but I never looked.

    Some have been removed, but credit should be given.

    Won't quote as on mobile.

    It does say in the blog post linked above that some missions are being removed, not just not being listed in the mission list any more. (pending revision, but I can't help but remember Divide et Impera...)

    So far, while the bug list is concerning, those patch notes cover most of the questions, but it would be helpful to know what happens with the mission arcs that aren't going to be listed in the mission list; I suppose they should work regardless, but it would be good to know rather than guess...

    Those episodes that are removed are being revamped and will return at some point.

    Already covered that bit. ("I can't help but remember Divide et Impera") I might have spelt it wrong, but I liked that mission. And the Foundry one that dealt with the plot holes.

    Redux is still up IIRC. ;)

    But just in case there's any lingering questions: missions that are being removed will automatically count for completion in any associated recruitment task. Those missions will be brought back at some point in future (Nimoy V.O. is included, Cryptic's keen on getting that back in the game), though very likely with a condensing mission revamp like we saw for the Borg, Cardassian, and Romulan arcs (so, even then the same recruitment objectives won't necessarily apply. They'll still count for auto-completion.)

    One of my Federation Tactical Captains has all of the Cardassian, Borg/Undine, and Romulan Episodes that have permanently removed in the Ongoing Missions Tab. I guess I will have to do the same with those Klingon Arc Episodes as well.

    I asked when the blog came out....my Delta recruits objectives will automatically get credit for any missions that get removed.

    Do I want to look through that entire thread to find the exact Ambassador Kael response??? Not really. But let me try to find it.
