Jem'Hadar Ship Customization Bug?

I just purchased a Jem Hadar Dreadnought Cruiser, but I am unable to modify the paint job on the ship. I was able to save some preset designs in ESD, but the designs refuse to be applied once the ship is in space. As soon as I beam back to my ship, it always reverts back to the default purple colors that the ship originally came with. Are we not allowed to customize Jem'Hadar ships?

    The ship comes with a shield that has a visual that is on by default. Disable the shield visual in the equipment screen and you should be good to go.

    All 3 visual slots are empty (deflector, shields and impulse), but still my ship refuses to get modified so there must be a bug or glitch affecting this.

    ... Okay, problem solved. I clicked on the shield that's equipped and disabled the visuals from there. Case closed :)
