Is there a way to disable windows from Arc?

I've been noticing that there is a second window that opens when I close the main Arc window. It appears to be triggered by closing the first one. Is there any way to disable it? All it is is advertising, and I really don't like having my hard drive filled with spam. Thanks.
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

    I'm not sure there's anything you can do in arc. But, I know you can play STO without arc by launching the application from your program folder (I've shotcutted it to desktop.)

    Downside: you have to log in each time manually. Upside: no extra pop-up.

    Same if you go through Steam. Have to log in each time, but... no Arc popups.

    There are no popups in my Arc.
