Unable to Download this Patch...

Not sure if it's me... Though I doubt it! But I do not seem to be able to download this patch. That's the problem with a P2P patching system. It doesn't work reliably until after most of the players have downloaded the patch. *rolleyes*

    Um... since when was STO's patch server reliant on players? I know TOR by default co-opts player machines to help when you're patching, but STO doesn't.

    I had no problem at all patching this morning.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Well I was stuck at 21% for nearly 30 minutes. Then, just about the time I found text stating that Lifetime Subs were supposed to get 'Priority Login', it began to progress very slowly. So *deep sigh* I guess my reason for complaint is now null and void.

    Sorry for this interruption of your regularly scheduled programming... Carry on!

    If there is a login queue, yes Lifers get bumped up in the queue. But for patching... if I had to guess you probably just got hit with traffic on the patch server. Could be any number of things between you and Cryptic that slowed you down. Hell... could even be your own ISP's activity.
