First, I'm not experiencing ANY lag, so I won't blame lag on this issue, but I'm noticing that my ship is taking the damage from an enemy NPC warp core breach BEFORE the enemy ship even explodes. It's more apparent when I'm very close to the ship that I'm destroying. As soon as the NPC health reaches zero and begins the explosion animation, my ship will register the breach damage. But the NPC ship is still a good 3 seconds from actually exploding. Doesn't really give me time to get away from the blast...at all.
