Honestly, the obsession that the devs and producer have with Tactical to the point where they're actively giving them engineering tanking/healing and sci debuffing is just insane. It's mind-boggling. It's like watching a 6 year old design a game so that he will always win no matter which of his friends he plays with.
Why do the devs hate Engineers in particular so much? I strongly suspect every good idea they had with the space rebalance for Engineer, they decided instead to just make the Miracle Worker spec so Tacs could have access to it.
IMHO, Engineers need a power similar to what the old Feedback Pulse was. Holy smokes Devs, could you please let engineers damage something every once in a while if that's ok with you, in your game where damage dealing is all that counts, where Tac and Sci have great tools for that, and engineers do not?

There still hasn't been much feedback, as far as I can tell, either. I guess we'll be stuck with them.
Absolutely no point in giving feedback if at this point we all know Cryptic isn't going to care anyway.
We actually know they do care about feedback, though. There was a lot of feedback given in the last big skill tree revamp, for example, and a lot of changes were made in response to it. @borticuscryptic engaged a lot in the discussions and listend carefully. He didn't neccessarily integrate everything, and not *every* feedback resulted in a change, but there was a lot of feedback he listened to. If we hadn't given feedback, or he hadn't listened, Subnucleonic Beam would be gone by now, for example...
But feedback not given can be neither considered or dismissed. It's simply not there.

It gets old being basically a power bloated HP sponge as an Engie. Be nice to put some of that umpf in to DPS more. I've kinda fudged it to a point using energy torpedoes to get some burst but more umpf in the offense department would be great. Then again I can just log in to my Romulan tac and press 13+ buttons to alpha vaporize something.
