Failed to Collect Rewards

I have completed the Mirror invasion event . I click on collect and i get blue lettering that says." Failed to collect rewards Mirror Invasion event,make sure you have room in your inventory" I have 26 spots open and 3 bridge officer spot on my ship ? What gives I want my stuff.
