    Alt timeline is the weakest of excuses for skimming youtube and a wiki for moments to regurgitate in an explosion of lens flare, wooden acting and awful dialogue.

    I am saying jj trek is it's own thing and does not need to respect any of the things that happened in ST or NG or DS9...

    As for Discovery.... it was filmed after JJ Trek so it's it's own thing. Yeah the look is different from the original ST but I chalk that up to just being a look/production values of the times in when it was made.
