Defera Invasion Zone Crafting Bug

Following the season 14.5 patch I am unable to craft items within the Defera Invasion Zone and hence unable to complete the mini-missions such as "Agile Assembler - Craft Power Cells".
After getting the missions from the person at center of camp I went to the faction specific crafter and tried to craft the items. On the first attempt at crafting I get the confirmation popup box and after selecting OK, the box disappears and the progress bar in the crafting dialog box progresses from start to end. However, the items do not show up in my inventory. Any subsequent attempts proceed similarly except that after the confirmation popup dialog box, the progress bar never appears within the item selection dialog box. This same sequence of events happened on multiple toons. First attempt you see progress but no reward, on subsequent attempts the process stops before the progress bar displays.
