I am working on leveling up 3 new Klingon characters which I like to do on my weekends...since I have to sit around doing laundry. Unfortunately, I want to level up my characters slowly and it is XP Bonus weekend...so that is not going to happen.
So, I will be spending this weekend doing Foundry Missions. (And, well, I might sign on Tribble to take a closer look at the Constable Specialization thing)
I decided that I will do the two missions on my list by an author named: johnnysnowball.
Because this funny name caught my eye.

Since the Iconian one takes over an hour...I am pretty sure I am going to have enough to keep me occupied all weekend. (I am really slow with the video game part of the game, especially missions I have not run before because I read EVERYTHING and will be taking screen shots...etc.)
Plus, I have to get my DuoLingo Klingon lessons in...or I will get demoted, again, uh.... My "streak" points reset because I was too busy watching Victory is Life live streams on Thursday.
You know, I am not sure what happens in that DuoLingo game when my daily streak gets reset...but I am sure it is bad. I have to look closer into how I score XP on that thing.

Last night, I had some time to kill after DOFFing....so I went back to revisit Rakajino in a Jar. This time to explore the two environments I found while running the mission the first time. (scroll back a few posts to see the pics.) (They don't even number the posts in this forum so I can't tell you which one to scroll back to!!) (Vanilla Forum kinda sucks.)
This to me counts as: EXPLORATION. Because I am beaming down to a planet (or flying into a new space system) and just looking around.
I took my Klingon Sci Captain in one of her Pilot Raptors...dressed up in the 23c. Klingon outfits. Oh...that's something else I can work on this weekend..getting the mastery on those Pilot Raptors finished. Put everyone back in the Kor BoP.
The first "map" is on Cowrk IV, in the Ke'ri Mountains. This is the one with the grasslands on the edge of a tropical(?) forest. It was as fun to wander around as I imagined it would be.
Plenty of valleys and ravines to run up and down and around. I spent quite a few minutes looking for edges...jumping off gullies. Running around rocks and up rock walls to see if I could get the BOFFs stuck somewhere...for how long? When will they catch up? LOL!
Pretty wild poppies popping up here and there...had not seen these particular ones before. Colors were nice, too. It was rather striking to see flowers that were created with a more delicate touch than most of the stuff I am used to seeing around STO. I wonder who made those? And why they are not used more often?
Next, I did some objectives to advance the mission to the space system. It is just labeled as "Neutral System", heading to an outpost to celebrate the windfall from the Cowrk IV mission. As you can tell from the screen shot...there is a lot of asteroids. Pilot ships are just MADE to weave around those things.
There wasn't much else to see on that map....well, maybe if it weren't getting so late, I would have spent more time on looking for more. But I decided it was time to sign off STO for the night.
Strange way I play this game, eh?
I am not sure which is better....links to the pics or the images in the post?

I can not write a review for [Ico] The Alternative 1h7m....because I can not even finish the darn thing. LOL!
In the first room I got to, I ended up hitting the objectives in the wrong order. Causing a complete lock up of the mission. This stopped all progression. I beamed back to my ship, to restart.
Came back down...got lost in the maze on the way to the point I was at before...and was stuck wandering around in there for 30 mins.
I said enough. Not a mission for me. I dropped it. Will move on to another.
Those who enjoy mazes will like this mission....but that is only the first part of it, I have no idea what the rest holds for you. I never got any further. The story was very interesting, though. Too bad I am really bad with mazes. LOL!
