Honestly I think the show is terrible and do not consider it canon and dont care what some yahoo who holds the licence says. I feel very confident saying there is no way Gene Roddenberry would have signed off in it for a fistfulof cash. I couldnt make it past like episode 4 after growing up with TNG. I didnt think it could get worse than JARJARverse but I was wrong. For my part I am just going to ignore it.
Skip to episode 8, which is okay, but actually feels like Star Trek, and each successive episode thereafter has been better and better, along with an amazing and intense take on the Mirror Universe. The first half of the series is hot garbage. The second half of the series had actual fan input and was heavily rewritten. It's really gone from "I'm watching this because it's Trek and I have to" to "I can't wait for the next episode!" The change is blindingly obvious too, as Episode 7 was character assassination of an established character, and then suddenly on episode 8 we feel like explorers suddenly.

Don't bother trying with people like that. People like that are dead set on shoving their idea of what should be down others throats under the guise of "True Fan" and won't listen to reason.
Really gets old how some people take one look at something, and decide they know what the creator of a franchise who's long dead would have wanted. ESPECIALLY when they drop the name of said creator as if they're some kind of Saint that can do no wrong, and unless people believe as they do, they commit blasphemy. Its honestly just an excuse to bash something because they themselves don't like it, so they hide behind the "True Fan Defending the Faith" argument.
Can we get off the debate about the show itself and focus on the topic of the ships in game now?
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I love my Walker. It's not amazing, but it's good looking, and it's a lot of fun.

I'm looking forward to getting one myself. Same with the Crossfield.
I had a blast with my Kelvin Connie when I got her too.

I have both the Crossfield and the Walker and I can safely say that I'm happy with the EC I spent on both ships. The Crossfield is easily my favorite ship with the boff layout and console layout being perfect for the build i wanted on it. The console was jarring at first, but now I think I've gotten the hang of it. The ship has a lot of firepower for a science ship. The Walker is pretty meh as other people have said in the post, but I still think it's a pretty fun ship, more specifically in PvP. The console is pretty much designed for that. It still has a lot of fire power if you're a tac officer, but not much else, you can also get some pretty good science out of it if you build it correctly.
