Bloom intensity slider is not working

auleius12auleius12 Member Posts: 50 Arc User
The topics says all. I don't notice any change in the bloom after moving the bloom intensity after turning on bloom. However it works very well in lighting 2.0. I can notice a change in the bloom after using the bloom intensity slider. Is there any way to rectify this issue?

IS this function only for lighting 2,0 or can I use it without lighting 2.0?

Thanks

Can you post what you were looking at? The "Bloom intensity" slider still works for me with Lighting 2.0 turned off when I look at the sun at Starfleet Academy and the lights in the hallway.

Srry for the late response. I just found out that in new romulus there is a change in bloom intensity if i use the slider but only in new romulus. There are no change in bloom intensity in other places such as in space.

bloom intensity is set at 500% and still no difference.

From what I've seen, bloom intensity (as opposed to bloom quality) only affects the area immediately surrounding bright sources of light, such as suns and light bulbs. There's probably a built-in brightness threshold that needs to be exceeded before bloom intensity has any effect. It's possible that there aren't many sources of light in most space maps; try looking at the sun. In addition, many maps are brighter with Lighting 2.0 than without, so it may be easier to exceed the threshold when Lighting 2.0 is turned on.
