I put my Fed Delta Recruit in the KT Connie, I am very happy with it.
Well, like I said, YMMV, and different strokes for different folks... I had the Dreadnought first, and really like it, but the KT Connie, as nice as it looks, just 'doesn't feel right'. I can have the same set up on a Heavy Cruiser, and get on fine with it... One that I am curious to try, is the Atlas Class...

So giving somebody the advice of get a ToS connie because it's mechanically meh, but because I think it is awesomesauce is you being a terrible person...and I will mock you for that.
Mechanically, it works pretty damned good. Moves pretty well, can take a beating, nice 'n small, and the built in weapon that can give one buffs, it's pretty damned good if one is lucky enough to get one. The T6 TOS ships from the AoY packs are jsut as good as well. And for looks....they ARE "Awesome Sauce" as you aptly put it. Both their TOS and Drexler style skins.

Like others said, the Ranger/Paladin's not bad at all. That molecular beam things is pretty useful, great when in a jam.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Since TOS had the worst acting, writing, and effects naturally everything else looks better. Thats not so much a dig at TOS, its just a fact of 60s TV being bad.
Where as modern TV has no acting...just a bunch of guys talking in the low, breathy, deep whispers (I call it the Snake Plisskin wanna be type talking), writing that appears to be from a room full of monkeys at keyboards, and an overdose of visual effects and CGI to replace a story, rather than supplement it....and making everything so fast paced to appeal to folks with the patience of a chairman and the attention span of a goldfish.....I'd beg to differ. TOS did a lot of stuff that was real gutsy for the time, especially when talking against war, bigotry and so on, which the censors would NOT allow you to do on TB, otherwise, but they were too stupid to notice any messages and meanings in TOS, since it was a "space show", and would think it like Flash Gordan or something. And that's when one can find fiction, since modern TV is pretty much reality TRIBBLE and pro/college sports (which is nothing but rampaging tribal rivalry, disguised as good, healthy sport)....I tend to enjoy, in addition to anime, the older stuff...be it TOS or classic Dr. Who, or stuff like 2001, Starman or Are You Being Served?
So knocking older television in favor of modern is like TRIBBLE telling vomit it stinks.

I like Ancient Aliens too and the husband likes Street Outlaws or some movie he runs across channel-surfing. Mostly though it's Keeping up with politic news or Forged in Fire, Street Outlaws or Ancient Aliens, Mystery at the Museum, stuff like that.

I turned my Chronos into a rep torp boat. With the rep scorpions. I was pleasantly surprised with it's killingness (this will now be a new word). Omnibeams on the back of course.
Arbiter: Fast, excellent trait, excellent BOFF, good for DBB build. Squishy and somewhat single-minded (shoot shoot shoot). Console set blows.
Reliant: Fast, less squishy than it first appears, good BOFF, canon. Never seem to know what to do with it. Console blows, trait blows.
(Mirror) Guardian: Tanky and heavy-feeling, good BOFF. Worthless console and weird trait. Seems meant for BFAW.
Resolute: Very unpopular, good if strange BOFF, unique and quite usable trait. Excelsior console set and canon appearance highly recommended. Recommend a radiation torpedo build.
Chronos: Tanky, sciencey enough to be an interesting ship, good BOFF and console set. Get all three though.
Paladin: Fast, good BOFF, good console if somewhat limiting. Again not sure what to do with it.
I wouldn't really say that the Paladin has a good boff setup, only one ltcom with an extra lt is quite limiting.
Just put an extra sci in the uni Lt slot

I'd honestly say, overall BOTH ST:TNG and ST:VOY acting is worse/very sub par when compared to TOS (and no, not at all kidding. Only Stewart and Spinder are on par with the Likes of Shatner, Kelly and Nimoy - but overall TNG was given TRIBBLE material to work with over the majority of it's 7 year run and ST:VOY was just TRIBBLE from day one.
