I don't really have a specific song tied to a specific ship. I do have music I prefer rather than the STO background music. After this long, the tuneage in the game is old.

I listen to anything by Bear McCreary. He is Klingon and doesn't know it. Listen to the intro to Black Sails and tell me you cannot imagine a Mogh battle cruiser advancing on yet another hapless True Way fleet who has no clue just how close pain and death are. McCreary's Apocalypse (from BSG) is my goto combat music during an STF.

I also like Five Finger Death Punch. The cowboy blues riffs of the Rebel Galaxy soundtrack works nicely wih my Fed SciGuy. He's Andorian and a bit fascinated by all the less well known things Humans do with music.

Having said that, by a happy coincidence, "The Touch" came on during a Mirror Invasion run, all while I was flying my U.S.S. Optimus Prime! *^_^*

I'd prefer the tracks of the Autobot escape from Autobot City, and the one where Unicron is trashing Cybertron.

Though I liked the season 3 musical scores.

I usually have a playlist for playing STO in general. However, I do have sort of a story element for my main alt where he has a certain song played over the ship's internal comms each time his ship crosses over from one quadrant to another, similar to how some sailors celebrate crossing over the equator.

Oh yeah. I have all of the 1986 movie in my playlist. ^_^ Battle of Autobot City is a great score. And I cannot hear any triumphant escape without the "Escape" theme popping into my head. XD
