Starship Targeting bugged? *SOLVED*

I've just logged out of the game pretty much as of typing this and noted a bizzare bug...

When you target a enemy NPC starship in an STF (for example) the HUD brings up a red circle of info on that ship automatically....usually, when all is well. Not so of EVERY STF I just tried. What's weirder? You can click on other ships in orbit of ESD (for example and you get a similar little blue circle info on the HUD. Well, trying to click on clear space to remove the info from my HUD wan't remove that blue circle info do-dat. I have to press ESC to clear it...and then it wigs out the ESC to bring up the exit options to leave the game.



As for enemy NPC's and the red HUD info do-dat...now I only get that if I manually click on each ship. Weird thing is, I was on about 7-10 hours earlier and had none of these problems.



CRYPTIC, urgent fix please. Cos an STF run blind is hellish...

Problem was the game changing some setting or another on me it seems. I went into options and just reset everything back to default and it fixed it...since I couldn't isolate what had messed up specifically and fix it. I was then able to tweak a few option, such as turn auto loot on, to my liking once more and all is well again.

Hope folk who suffer likewise find this and are able to fix as easily...
