I'd be interested in getting a 29th Century Alliance as a sort of "prestige" character. Require something to unlock it (probably completion of the Iconian War or Temporal Front arcs), and have it give access to more races, cross-faction ships (you would choose a "pedigree" for the sake of initial ship and lockboxes), and the ability to start at late-game content.
Think Death Knights from WoW
I'd be open to a 29th century character possibly with either a few cross bred races from the Federation, Klingon Empire or Romulans. It be nice to see a few 29th Century cross faction ships the new Race could fly yet would be available to existing toons as well.

Yep. Something like that, plus possibly a few exclusive species (Breen springs to mind). Perhaps start with a 29c. variation of the iconic ship for your chosen "pedigree" (Fed gets a Cruiser, Klingon gets the Bird of Prey, Romulans get the Warbird). 29c Captains would have access to any ships from any faction, and D/B Officers, etc.
I assume you weren't around then? When they originally released no win, the max level cap was level 50. Once Delta Rising hit, and the cap was raised to 60, and people got all of that delicious power creep, No Win became "always win". Even after trying to reconfigure it for the new level cap, it was still too easy, and too easy to exploit to get to wave 10, so they axed it.
They did recently re-purpose it as the limited time Kobayashi Maru Event.
In your opinion, did players who beat NWS before delta rising then exploited that map as well?

No? Why on Earth would you think so?
Because power creep was already an issue long before delta rising. It contributed to the fact that beating NWS got easier in 2013 & 2014, yes, but it was only a fraction compared to the level of team play parts of the community learned to achieve by forming dedicated channels with some pretty tight entrance requirements around that map.
I just feel… well disappointed, if all of this would be remembered by today’s players as “exploiting” something. On the contrary, most players worked pretty hard for their NWS victories at that time and this game has yet to see any content more engaging.
By your assessment running any map of today’s queue list would be “exploiting”.

No, and don't you ever try to lie like that again. It speaks volumes on your lack of desire for civil debate
You have not the slightest clue what you talk about and when you are reminded of it you get upset, well sorry. Glad I only picked one of your replies you made to dismiss mattjohnsonva’s good ideas for upcoming releases.

It was still pretty hard to complete NWS when they finally took it down, I'm with peter on that.
I had a decent DPS ship back then, but I never did achieve the accolade, and it still haunts me to this day
And not for lack of trying.
Had many failed attempts before they pulled it.

He has a valid point. You call winning a queue using powers issued by the game 'exploiting'. You appear to be the one unable to have a civil debate, calling someone a liar for challenging your poorly worded statement with a well presented counter view.
Using powers in a way a mission wasn't designed to be able to adapt to is, by all definitions, exploiting.
Saying that it isn't is lying, no ifs, ands, or buts.
What powers were being used in a way not intended by the game? The only thing I can imagine you mean are people wanting their teams made up to ensure that each player was min/max'd on their skills for the team to be peak efficiency for running NWS. Team play is pretty much the whole reason for the queues, working as designed.
Back in the day I was annoyed that I was set up for solo'ing and didn't min/max my characters so I was never able to be part of one of those monster runs. But I'm not going to call someone a exploiter for setting their toons up with the idea that they are going to play that toon only as part of a team doing a single mission over and over. A little OCD by not an exploit.
It's the same type of argument that people have against "nanny runs" for DPS. Yeah I can't do 130k dps, but I'm not going to complain that some person has a ship that can do one thing, but do it very well. Good for them. I'll go farm fleet marks in several different pug queues while they run ISA over and over.
make a new faction like a Enterprise Nx faction with thows kind of ship leave more ideas here so dev can see them for the next season
To go where STO never gone before....SHUT the servers down and put this MMO to its misery so other companies can buy the copyright to make it better!
Well if we are talking about a new playable faction, what about Bajorans? Just think, we could get the opportunity to wear beige outfits, preach religion, get to do Doff missions like lighting incense and burning twigs? Maybe even get missions that include conquering Cardassia Prime and spreading the stories of the prophets to the corners of the quadrants!
Yes, I can see many players supporting the idea of a Bajoran faction.
Don't forget this is Cryptic we are talking about. The people who took the most underhanded and conniving race in Trek and turned them into tree hugging, granola munching, hippy, space-elves.
...
Remaster the Breen Arc for Pete's sake.
...
Re-enable access to all the many patrols that are one time only visits.
...
I remember when the Breen arc was the most impressive part of the game. I think it's fine, personally. It's not the newest arc of missions, but it's still fun to revisit with a new character every now and again. If anything, I'd rather see the time spent on a brand-new arc of some sort.
As far as the old patrols go, repeatable access would be fine, but I'd also be fine with just removing them. They're ridiculously easy with a decently-equipped ship. The patrols around New Romulus and the DQ are more fun.

Would be better then the auto-aim ground combat we have now. Not that I mind the current ground combat.. but it could be a lot better.

At the very least you seem to fit right in.
