Can't use datachip

When I completed my lore mission as Part of the Endeavour challenge, I got amessage saying I couldn't equip the item, andI didn't have a Use option when I right-clicked it. Is anyone else having the same problem?

That happens when you've already gotten that particular datachip. To see if that's the case, hover over the datachip to find out which volume and chapter it is, i.e. Vol. 27, Ch. 2. Then open your mission journal and select the Accolades tab. Scroll down a bit until you get to the Lore Accolades section; if you've picked up that volume and chapter before, it'll have a check mark next to the name, and you can read the contents if you like.
