Pilot Escort Mega Bundle Bug

I purchased the Pilot Escort Mega Bundle and have come across a bug that started out as funny and sort of cool, but now is really annoying. Every single Federation and Klingon Pilot Escort ship has this bug. I've yet to work on the Romulan set, but would guess they would have same issue. I would be in combat and maybe 25% of the time during a turn after a strafing run, the ship will do either a barrel roll sideways, or it would all of a sudden get jerked sideways like it was on a string that had snapped back. It has happened with all 3, Tactical, Engineering and Science on both Fed and Klingon. I'll check Romulan when I have time to work my Romulan some more.

I'm a little surprised that this bug actually made it through testing. The developers do test their designs, right??
