Cannot equip new engineering console reward from Beyond the Nexus

Completed Beyond the Nexus on my Level 18 AoY captain, when I tried to install the Reinforced Armaments MK IV console into one of my engineering console slots the game informs me that I don't meet the requirements for that item. As you can see in the screenshot all of the console slots are red when I pick the item up from inventory.

I have to ask, did you try actually dragging it over to one of the empty slots ? I have had numerous times something would refuse to equip when double-clicking or show up as red un-equippable in inventory yet would actually equip if I go ahead and drag it over to the slot. Also, if you haven't already, try clicking on the empty console slot and then selecting it from the list that pops up (if it shows up there).

That's the three different ways that I know of to equip something and I have had numerous occasions where one, or even two, of those randomly didn't work but I have yet to have all three of them fail for any given item......and usually once it's been equipped once it never gives a problem again.

Having the same issue, have try all 3 ways to equip the item it still says I don't meet the requirements. The odd thing is the Rifle equipped without any issues.

yes, tried it all, refuses to be recognized as equippable. And same thing, the rifle has no issues.

I just read the patch notes for tomorrow, it's gonna be fixed.
