    Well there was a 2g download was hoping that fixed issues but it didnt so back to not playing this game again

    So I ended up uninstalling the game and reinstalling and I have not had the dashboard bug again.

    Same as raemeili said - at the advise of another I uninstalled and reinstalled, seems to have fixed the crashing to dashboard issue and restored missing SFX.
