Intrepid Pack still bugged

So I've come back to the game after a year break. I'm a lifetime subscriber since around launch. Really want the Voyager interior but the Intrepid pack is still bugged. I cannot purchase it because I own part of it already. Seems a little ridiculous that I can't GIVE MORE MONEY for it. I don't understand why not. I own parts of other packs but I still have the option to purchase them.

    Not bugged its working as intended. They didn't want people crying about I bought the ship yesterday and today I want a discount on the full pack. So they locked the packs to be if you own a part of it you cant buy it.

    If you do not own the T6 Pathfinder, you have a chance to get the interior still. on occasion they will put the pathfinder bundle up, with the interior. When they do this it is a limited time deal so grab it when it goes live.

    Also check the ship tailor. Back before I got the pack, I had the option to buy the bundle through there. Even when the bundle was not in the store.

    The bundle is in the store all the time, you just can't buy it if you own any part of it already. You can buy the Voyager interior nevertheless when they do a ship sale. Last few times that happened, there was the opportunity to buy the pathfinder with the interior. I hope that keeps on being possible for everyone who wants it.

    Yeah, I would have to say it is working as intended.

    One could simply argue that if you already own one of the ships in a pack, then you should still be able to simply purchase the pack to get the remaining ships. The problem with this is that the pack is all inclusive meaning everything in the pack gets added to your account, but then you would have a duplicate ship and accounts are not allowed to have duplicate ship. I suppose it is there to prevent players from purchasing the same ship twice and also to prevent possible errors in the database (something all corporate IT departments want to actively avoid).

    Why not simply delete / override the data for a ship that already exist on an account? That would probably be a logical question. The logical answer is doing so would delete all gear on that ship. Players can easily TRIBBLE themselves over if this was an option then Cryptic's support will be flooded with complaints from players not understanding what the consequences were going to be. I can foresee a lot of players rage quitting if this happens.

    As a corporation, between having a few people disappointed that they cannot buy a ship pack because they already have one or more ships in the pack versus a potential mass exodus as a result of rage against lost gear, I would prefer knowing there are some disappointed players.

    Well they have exactly the opposite problem with the Enterprise Era Bundle. With the Bundle you get the NX-01 Ship. The problem is, it doesn't tell the C-Store that you own it and they will merrily let you purchase the separate individual NX-01 Ship for 500 Zen as well.

    Not bugged, working as intended, indeed. It's working very stupidly, but it's not a bug.

    I still find "interesting" (to stay polite) that buying a ship that is part of a bundle(s) automatically bars you from getting the bundle(s).
    Who cares if I get a ship unlock twice and pay for the same ship twice. That's my money, I do whatever the hell I want with it!

    Give me a warning window telling me I'm gonna buy the same thing twice among the rest and that I'm an idiot for doing so if you want for legal reasons or whatever, but let me do it.

    I can tell you that buying the T6 Intrepid during the sale when you already own the earlier C-Store Intrepids does not give you the Intrepid interior. No idea if you have to buy the Intrepid Bundle if they ever do have that sale or not, since I just bought the T6 when the offer was last available.

    When they roll out the Galaxy-Class interior, I sincerely hope that they make the Intrepid-Class interior available as a separate purchase. Considering the number of people who had already purchased all of the Galaxy class ships (the refits and T6s) by now, there's going to be a lot of ticked off people if they had to buy a Galaxy Class bundle just to be able to get the interior for them.

    Is this still the way it's supposed to work? Kind of annoyed I didn't know this before I bought the T5 retrofit with the armor. Otherwise I would have bought the entire bundle, but now I can't see it! :( Sad times.
