Idea: Opening Night Viewing Party

The Plan: Invade Risa or Drozana or ESD on Discovery's premier night.

I think a good number of players will be watching Discovery anyway, so why not make an event of it?

    Doesn't sound that bad. Drozana is the better idea. Everyone can be there.

    everyone can be on risa too (the summer resort part, anyway) and it's way bigger

    though, knowing cryptic, it probably has the same instance limit as drozana, so size doesn't really matter​​

    Probably best to just use the chat channels anyone can access, so nobody is excluded. This allows LTS folks who have chat on their phones and whatnot to participate, even though they aren't logged in to the game.

    Maybe we can convince Cryptic to make an exception to the instance limit? Is it really impossible for the server to handle a single instance with a few hundred players?

    Instance hopping is easy enough, and chat channel covers multiple instances simultaneously.

    I'm liking the idea more as I think about it. Perhaps I should start stacking up a few prizes for party games. Fleets or even individuals can host their own parties and events.
