Tired of the current end game? Looking for a major expansion? How about the Gamma quadrant? How about some new Playable races?

    I know Cryptic for 5 years and any expansion “into the gamma quadrant” would look like AoY with just a handful of new faction related missions at most before you continue with the Klingon war arc again.

    I’m highly skeptical if that alone would get me to do a 11th char and go through all the trouble to push it to my end game standards.

    Perhaps if they would throw in recruitment event on top I would make a Jem’ Hadar called First@peterconnofirst and garb the acc wide event bonuses before I run out of white and delete the char.

    At least AoY was funky a bit but the whole Gamma Quadrant as faction or something? No thanks here.

    I say yes because simply put.. I'll always vote in favor of more stuff to do.

    As with all content in STO, if it ended up being something I didn't enjoy playing, then I would simply not play it.

    I'm all for adding it, but I wouldn't pay extra for it, no.

    The OP narrowed it down to new endgame stuff to do as well as new playable species. I voted accordingly in full consideration of the related stuff we got so far in the past.

    If you have it in you to let to your imagination fly over it I’ll respect that. Mine died somewhere between Romulans, Remans and playable Talaxians for livers that may enjoy the same old endgame content my other feddies do.

    AoY is one year old. If it weren’t for the special icon in the character selection screen I would not even notice I picked the respective toon as far as my daily STO experience with it is concerned. Now you think this would be any different with a gamma?! :/

    Yeah, call it Gamma Rising, add 3-4 missions, a whole bunch of systems to patrol and about 20 new ships for $400. Voilà, there's your expansion.

    Meh, it certainly has possibilities but I don't think they're the most promising at STO's disposal. Personally, I'd rather see an expansion focusing on the Borg and introducing a Cooperative mini-faction.

    Sure, would be cool to expand on Bajoran/Cardassian/DS9 stuff, and it would be actual free to play content instead of another lockbox.

    assuming it doesnt look like delta patrols rising did, and has more meat than AoY, sure I'd like to see whats over yonder... I dont expect we'll see any more new races to play tho, or anything decent at all really.

    Thanks for your votes so far. Maybe Cryptic is listening. I hope the DS9 revamp they have talked about is more than just a map update.

    Tired of seeing these lazy one time FE and to top it they ran it 4 or 5 times to get a shinie?

    Come on MR EP please dedicate some "REAL" content and have a set of stories added or a new faction...even a half a$$ faction like the roms would be nice just about now???​​

    Conditionally, yes. I'm not really interested in another reputation grind or another STF to further dilute the queues that never flipping pop as it is. A "season" of tightly-written "episodes" with no filler to stretch it out would be my ideal.

    An expansion into the Gamma Quadrant would be great for perhaps episode based episodes and more exploration?
    Agree that a more Dominion-arc should be explored along the lines of DR - interactive map area, perhaps also for fleets the option of their own "Deep Space" - Cardassian space station?

    Not sure if I'd fancy level'n up a new character though, unless it offered some further perks to DR and AoY. Took a bit of time out of game with AoY just because I didn't feel it had the "buzz" DR had. That could just be me though, something different than the norm would be more beneficial. I wouldn't mind seeing another reputation or admiralty system though.

    Overall, the story-arc would have to be brilliant :)

    I believe there is also another iconian gate in the delta quadrant. According to the story. I want my t6 Dyson ships with full protonic weapons. Upgradable this time.

    Gamma Quadrant feels like old news to me. We already did the whole DS9 series; I feel no need to revisit that era.

    Also, Option 3 is full of wild supposition and judgement; silly.

    part of what makes WoW work is they have expansions.. and you pay for them. I have no problem paying for a well done expansion.

    Depends...if it's a rather small area like the Delta Quadrant...I would say meh....but if it's larger...maybe.

    If it added a Cardassian faction...then definitely.

    I want to go to the Andromeda galaxy already! Gamma quadrant, Dominion and their following, they just don't seem all that interesting to me if it would heavily feature them. Now, I respect those that do, but I don't understand the fascination with the Dominion, they seem, kind of bland? Cardassians on the other hand, they are a different story in my mind, if they are done right, but I still would rather keep business short in the gamma quadrant if we MUST, and get on to the Andromeda galaxy which has been teased before.

    Yes, I would be interested in a DS9 themed expansion. And in playable Cardassians for fed + a race change token.
