Updated info about cs ships

Heila, reading around look like the best federation cruiser you can get from cs is the Arbiter, many threads though are old a lot so am wondering if it's still actual or nowaday there's better cruisers now (i mean you can get right away).

    It's tough saying one ship is 'best' because ships have different strengths and weaknesses. There is no absolute, undisputed 'best' ship.

    With that in mind, I agree with Napalm, if I had no C-Store ships and could only buy one Fed ship it would be the Arbiter. Highly versatile BoFF layout, fantastic ship trait, and the console is also pretty good. In my opinion, it's the best 'bang for the buck' on the Fed side.

    The one thing that sucks about the arbiter is that it only has 1 slot for science consoles, 2 for the fleet ship

    Yep, Science console slots are only useful for universals now sadly.

    It's Cryptic 'balance' for you. They said Embassy Plasma consoles were too powerful so they 'balanced' them by making them 100% worthless.

    SO ..I was hoping the stuff in the sci console slots were more useful for sci ships..But the exploders weren't so useful for sci ships..
