Ultimate Tech Upgrade Bork? From 20 Pack Keyring

Someone want to explain this to me before I even think about actually trying it and TRIBBLE up a piece of equipment I just finally saved enough for?

This dosent happen on, for example, my Mark XI Assimilated Regenerative Shield Array. But for some reason this item is LOOSING shield stats.

    Well, sometimes, the upgrade window doesn't reflect the correct upgrade information, but once you upgrade, there is no problem, I would try those upgrades on tribble if I where you, just to be sure
