A very long time ago there was a Star Trek customizable card game from Decipher. It was great fun, and I wasted more of my childhood playing the 1st edition of it than I can properly express. While the game has long since died out (officially), it's always remained fond in my heart. Naturally, my love for Trek has also expanded to STO so it only seemed fitting that I took it upon myself to create some cards for my favorite captains, crewmen, and ships that would fit inside that old, glorious game.
So I cranked my graphics settings up as far as I could and I went about trying to get some screenshots of everything I'd need. That, and I found a decrepit, old card maker that only works about 1/3 of the time to at least give me a template to build off of. Once I had some templates and screenshots, I popped over into GIMP and to put it all together and polish it up where necessary. And a few times I'd realize none of those screenshots really work well enough so I had to drag some poor BOFF back out for a second series of photos.
And this is the finished product, at least for now. I'd love to revisit it and add more cards, but right now I'm finished with everything I originally set out to do. Enjoy!

Wish I could make some myself.
Here's a link to the card creator I used: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/startrekccgdcs/files/Card Maker Programs/
Just be warned that it was never completed, it's buggy, and it doesn't seem to like Windows 10 all that much. Some card types, including ships, don't have full support so all of the text I had to add in while in GIMP. And even running in compatibility mode, I can't get the program to import images. Instead I exported em' with black backgrounds, removed the backgrounds, and then pasted my desired image in a layer behind the rest of the card. Lined it up, resized it, presto.
But it still beats doing it all from scratch.
If you're still interested in the game, check them out!
These are really well done!

@sevixprime yeah I visit there every once in a while not a whole lot of interest in my area. If there was an online version of some kind that'd be awesome tho (I was always a 1e player) I know there are web based customizable board/card game platforms sure it'd be easy enough for them to do that.
