Assuming someone lists the Temporal Light Cruiser (TLC) for 1.5 billion EC, the cost to buy 300 Master Keys with real money would be $337.50. A 10-pack of keys current costs 1125 Zen or $11.25, therefore a 30 10-packs of Master keys will cost $337.50.

Looking at the Exchange right now there is exactly one TLC listed on the Exchange for 1.5 billion EC. However, Master Keys are being listed individually for 4.9 million EC.

For someone who wants the make 1.5 billion EC, I actually recommend you by the R&D 4 pack for 1,000 Zen or $10 and sell them on the Exchange. The promo R&D packs are currently selling for 16 million EC each on the Exchange. That means you need sell 94 R&D packs at 16 million each to make 1.5 billion EC.

94 R&D packs works out to 23 R&D 4-packs (92 in total) for $230 plus 2 individual R&D packs for $6. Total cost is $236, Or simply buy 24 R&D 4-packs for $240 and end up having a bit more than 1.5 billion EC. That's basically spending an extra $4 to get 32 million EC.

I recommend you just fly a lower level connie, but kit it out with top end gear and save your money. Use a different ship for ques, just use your connie for episodes and Argala patrol.

Well then, perhaps in your original post you should have recommended people should search for the "Special Requisition Pack - 23rd Century Tier 6 Ship" since the average player who simply wants the Temporal Light Cruiser would not know of the requisition pack.

Mine is right in that list, a 23rd choice pack, didn't wanted to open it, because the final buyer can have the choice to have the t'liss and the D7 also, to be very honest, i rather trade it for a 26th dread, but there are very few of those in the Exchange and are quite expensive, if it wasnt for that, mine would be the cheapest.. (already have one, truly dont need another)

so why don't you just trade the choice pack for a dreadnought in one of the trading channels? i'm sure there has to be someone who has a 26th century pack that doesn't want it and would rather have a 23rd century ship

Or, just fly the T6 Miranda,... it's a better ship anyway and much more accessible,...

Or play older Star Trek games where you can fly a connie and other ships without having to fork over hundreds of dollars. Money for Connies is better spent on things like Steam sales and other stuff where the purchase isn't a gamble for lock boxes or your first born child off the exchange.

Funny as a TOS fan who watched first run at age 6 in 1969 - I feel the EXACT same way about TNG (IE it's a retconned PC era garbage show.) In fact I never understood all the 'Improve the Galaxy Class threads because that ship looked like a 1980ies era modern art disaster - and the interior set design was more akin to a Cruise ship/Hotel <---- But to each his own I suppose. ;)

How is this considered such a thing... and what the heck is this thing, actually?

As for the cruise ship/hotel design, it's actually quite fitting since it's a ship designed for long-term exploration. You'd want a large interior with comfy features to avoid having some crew members going insane from living in a cramped, submarine-like interior for several years.

Personally, I would never spend real money to buy a T6 connie in game. If I were going spend real money in the game it would be buying cstores ships or character slots. If I want a T6 connie that badly I do what everybody else does and grind for it by earning energy credits.

And extendable/retractable pain sticks for those extra aggressive situations. Now that is Klingon luxury.

I feel bad for owners of the T6 Connie Ship. Most of them will never have Sulu piloting the ship for them like I do with my ship.

Yup. Couldn't agree more. I'd rather spend it on the keys or packs than hand over my hard-earned cash on an over-inflated priced item to another player. I have never ever experienced such bad luck to have spent over $300 dollars in an attempt to get 1 ship! This post exemplifies pure glutony!
