Bugged ship console

I'm playing on the Xbox one and I bought the T5 Mogh battlecruiser for my Klingon character so I could get the Dynamic Defense Deployment System console for my T6 Kurak battlecruiser. I equipped it on the T6 but when I look at my power wheel the DDDS ability is not there, the Kurak's Ablative Hazard Shielding is present though. I also have both the T5 and T6 battlecruisers for my Federation character as well and both of it's console abilities are working fine. I was hoping you guys could look into that, I don't like the idea of spending money for something that does not work. Please and thank you.
