Suggestion box for future ships

Was looking through some of these online and I was thinking how these would fit in great in STO, I know theres probably restrictions against using material from previous games, but couldnt some of these be a starting point for future additions to the game?

If it's not in actual canon or designed by Cryptic it has zero chance of getting put in the game, especially any ship in a game owned by another studio.

The only exception to this rule has been the Vesta Class which came from a book, and the rights to it had to be paid for.

If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

The Luna class is also from the books. Well, specifically it was mentioned in Nemesis but its appearance is from a contest for the books.

I liked the SFC3 Hawk class...but we'll never see them in game, leem already hit it on the nose why.

Armada 1/2 had some cool ships as well but will never see them either.

Perhaps a design competition to be held every year. Who here hasn't doodled a ship.

Edit: I would include Axanar ships on my wishlist.

No its not. It just has the same class name and looks vaguely familiar. There's more similarities between the Galaxy and Ambassador than there is between the canon and in-game Olympic classes.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Well, the Olympic-class USS Pasteur seen on screen was from an alternate timeline that didn't come to pass, so one could reasonably argue that the in-game Olympic-class is the "canon" vessel of this timeline. ;)

Yeah but the ship was old. It's a TNG design so it's reasonable to assume it predates the timeline split and unlike the Gal-X it doesn't appear to have had anything done to it to 'modernise' it. The Negh'Vars are also unchanged from what their prime design will have going to have been (you know because DS9 is in AGT past but made later :D).

I'd assume it's more likely the STO ship is a refit type thing like, say, the Galaxy and the Envoy or Celestial.

What I can not comprehend, even if I try to do more, is the following:
    1) The Andromeda class can not equal the Oddysea T5-U class.
    - She has far fewer console slots than the Odyssey T5-U.
    - Much less slot for a console, perhaps to compensate for the Temporal chair? It is ridiculous!
    2) The Star Ship Class Vesta is no longer an opponent against new enemies.
    3) What are starships with three gun slots on the bow and stern, whose torso resilience is around 33,000 points? And I mean new Romulan starships. In addition, these star ships "boast" a classification between starships T6.
    4) Question Box Locks: I personally saw a video on YouTube where the player opened 1,050 Lock Boxes within nine minutes. I emphasize the number of 1,050 pieces!
    - He did not get a single star ship from any Lock Box!
That's why I ask: What is the chance for a free player to get a star ship from Lock Box?
Do I have to answer myself?
Then I'm 99% sure that it's virtually zero!
    5) When I see videos shot by "Lifetime Players", I literally do not believe my own eyes when looking at their inventory. We, the players playing "free", look like beggars next to them.
    - In short, already in the game, it is true: "Everyone is equal, but some are more equal."

I'd like to see all the TMP-TUC era aesthetic Federation ships from Starfleet Command II.

Reminds me that I've always wanted to see something similar to the Akula class from the first SFC video game
    latest?cb=20060816004846
I know that an exact copy is likely impossible, but I've always liked its top and bottom configuration for the nacelles and I'd love to see something similar in STO.

Predictable reply from me, but nonetheless......

We are WAY, WAY overdue a T6 Nova class.

For god's sake Cryptic.... GIVE THE MAN HIS T6 NOVA CLASS!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, people have been asking for this since DR first hit and it still hasn't appeared, which is crazy considering it appeared in several episodes, is a canon ship AND was piloted by one of the main characters in the DR story arc.
