With the remaining two tier 1 Fed ships the Miranda and the Oberth, I think it is more likely that a T6 Miranda will get a lockbox release since it's a TOS ship, while a T6 Oberth will get a c-store release since it's a TNG ship.

Both the Miranda and Oberth are TMP ships not TOS or TNG.
I didn't even remember seeing the Oberth in TMP, I simply remembered the Oberth made an appearance in TNG. However the movies were still set in the TOS universe, that's why I said the Miranda was from TOS.

TMP is usually used for the movie era.

TMP era ships. I.e. made between TMP and the opening of Generations. Almost all of those ship later appeared in TNG with the Miranda, Excelsior, and Oberth most prominently. TNG even introduced TMP era ships such as the Constellation or Sidney.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I really hope neither the Miranda nor the Oberth gets stuck in a lockbox. I'm fine with either the C-Store or Lobi Market. I'm willing to shell out money for the ship(s) I want so long as I get what I pay for...not a chance to get it. Otherwise, if they must put it in a lockbox, allow the ship to be sold on the market.

Why not eliminate the tier system all together, spec out the ships for end game from the gate. The PVE missions auto scale difficulty anyways. You could still progress with the Mark gear, but the ship remains the same.

A novel idea might be to offer ships (like the Temporal Light Cruiser or a T-5U Miranda) as the goal/endpoint of a five-Tier Reputation queue-tree based on Fleet Marks instead of all the others (Omega, Temporal, Terran, etc.).
There were already fleet-mark based missions in the PVE, why not just use them for a tree that grants access to higher end versions of existing ship models like the Miranda, Constitution, Constellation, and Heavy Cruiser?

It would not require any new models, it would expand the PVE using existing maps, and it would allow people to buy T-5U ships via dilithium instead of Zen.

    Just a thought.

Not a bad idea. It would also give folks like me who hate grinding a way to sell Zen for dilithium and still get the ship they want.

I would love a t6 k'tanco, as well as some more KDF BoP options. BoP 3pk with with like a command Hegh'ta, Intel Hoh'sus, and Temporal Ki'tang. lt or ltc hybrid universal, and slightly different console layouts. No new hulls needed, but a skin would be nice.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

The T6 Miranda is NEVER COMING. And it certainly won't be coming this month, nor will it feature a Pilot specialization seat and be bundled with KDf and RRF Light Battlecruisers.

    ...so just give up now.

This is an oddly specific thing to say. :/

Especially since we got a few that we'd never get. :|
    Also, ignore Tribble's Miranda model.

    ...IGNORE IT.

the Grissom in Star Trek 3 was an Oberth though it seems like red shirts Oberths are doomed to go boom

I can't agree with being able to buy a ship with marks (even if it'd have the requisite dilithium cost as well). It flies counter to monetizing ships as is standard practice. Not that I'm against making T6 versions of the ships requested, just that a reputation tree wouldn't be the way to go to get them. Someone suggested this very idea in another thread and it's been met with just as much skepticism.
