The Klingon fleet escort is listed as "Faction: Starfleet"
Other than that, yeah, they are escorts. Not my kind of ship - however I still question the "heavy weapon railgun" slot for the smallest kind of vessels in the game. Shouldn't a cruiser get a heavy weapon that fires slow and builds threat over time?

None of the ships list if they have cloak capability, but it seems obvious at least the Romulan should have it. The Caitan one sounds like it might have some stealth capability, too (but it could just be the Intel ships passive stealth bonus perhaps?)
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
I too noticed the absence of Cloaking being mentioned. If they have the Hathos with no cloaking that makes no sense whatsoever. I am a little underwhelmed with their stats especially since to receive an 11th console you got to upgrade to the fleet version. I know that is the trend, but these ships are already $30 on their own respectfully LOL. Hopefully there will be a introductory sale price that will offer temptation. Also, I would have preferred a 3 & 3 console arrangement for the Eng. & Sci. consoles. As someone already stated still no details about the railgun neither. The highlight so far for these ships are the designs, but I am still not sold, yet, just for aesthetics. Here is to still crossing my fingers.
I am presuming the Hathos lacking a Romulan Cloak is an oversight in the blog. Whether the Ferasan or Catians ship possess and cloaking technology is of negligible importance to me.
Other than my main, who gets spoiled rotten, I like my characters to have a primary and secondary ship. I don't have a Caitian yet, but my AoY needs a ship, as does one of my Remans.
But which on my 3 Ferasans get to play with the ship first?
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

"This new inventory slot and item is being introduced to reinforce the damage role of starships that possess them, and can significantly improve your starship’s damage output (especially after being upgraded)." That bodes REALLY badly. I think Heavy Weapons would best be doing say the damage of a Quantum Torpedo, but at rate of 1 per 10 secs. But this sounds like they will not just be a 8th weapon slot, but a 360 Degree, super-powered 8th weapon slot.
I wouldn't mind them being powerful if they were 45 Degree arc (so that they required using the escort's mobility), but being a "Significant" damage source and being 360 Degree seems to be beyond overpowered, especially since Escorts already have Starship Mastery sets that favour damage and would likely result in these Heavy Weapons doing broken amounts of damage on crits (like Beams do already) that would make all other ships useless.
Don't be surprised if nearly every (some people fly these ships because they want to use that ship, not because they are chasing DPS) Vengeance is replaced by a Shikaris, and every Scimitar is replaced with a Hathos. Because if they are, that means one thing. The Heavy Weapon is overpowered, as the Max DPS (Crit Abusing) crowd will only use the highest DPS ship for their faction.
If you can't solve it logically, solve it like a moron.
51 + 1 Foundry Character Slots is NOT enough. Some of us love our characters. If I want to buy more character slots, why can't I? I couldn't experience the entire Delta Recruitment event without deleting a character.
The Iconians themselves can't time travel because their memories revert, but there is nothing to say an Iconian couldn't write everything she needed to do on a PADD, pin it to herself, travel back, read the PADD, do the tasks and return. Or just get one of her Non-Herald underlings to go back in time for her.
Oh yeah, I do Foundry missions for both KDFs and Feds. Just search KSTF (Short for Kinas Special Task Force, where Kinas is the name of the Admiral you will be serving under). The earlier ones are less story based and more combat based, while the later ones have a much heavier story element, but keep the large battles.
So does this mean the Dhelan will see a set bonus upgrade?
That would be a nice touch. The T6 Ar'kif was a part of bundle like this, and that got a 3 piece set bonus despite the KDF Raptor of that bundle not getting any set bonus.
But it will more likely be like the T5 and T6 Ranger/Paladin, where the T5's console can't even be equipped on the T6.
If you can't solve it logically, solve it like a moron.

First , I really like those three ships. Especially the Caitian Shikaris Escort.
I even know the origins of that ship
The project started when NSEA Protector crushed into Ori Mothership.
Both ships took a lot of damage but after a lot of welding the new vessel was spaceworthy , looked really good and could still Use Ori beam weapon.
Is it just me, or does this not look eerily similar to the Asgard or Ori Beam weapons from Stargate SG1/Atlantis? What's with all the Stargate similarities, someone on the Dev team a fan secretly putting these in?

Looks more Asgard beam to me, Ori beams were more yellow/orange. Also, the Hobus Base is basically the SGC. It used to be even closer before they changed the rounder, borg styled gateway with the standardised Iconian Gateways. It even had the ripples, and the little gap in the ramp.
Also, the Caitian Atrox also gives me a bit of a BC-303 vibe.

For a moment there i thought the regular non fleet version had 11 console slots...
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Seems the Hathos comes with battle cloak as expected, and it includes the fleet grade even if it's not listed in those second row of stats.
Its design very much reminds me of the Hegh'ta bird of prey, except as a Reman warbird, so an excellent combination. I was never a fan of the Dhelan or Dhael either, so it definitely is a surprise. Can't wait to see them in-game to get a better sense of them.

Indeed, I got the same vibe from the Atrox too. Glad it wasn't just me. That said, intentional or not I'm glad for all the SG references. It's a shame a proper game was never developed for it, so I'll take what I can get.
Whilst I like escorts for my fed and klink I honestly can't say that I want a flying comm badge. I would have been interested in the slithus, had it looked anything like the hathos, I think the klinks lost this one again. Since I'm not interested in playing a caitian or a ferasan I guess I'll pass on these, but will check them out in the ship vendor just incase the have some better cosmetic options.
So for me it's fingers crossed that what I have will get a bit of a boost(or at least fix the damn multi-part ships) and that one day they will actually add a decent bop to the c-store.
I'm very pleased the Dhelan now also has a Tier 6 version (I was afraid it might not get one - but since yesterday, I secretly hoped this might be it). I'm also very pleased Caitians (second) and ferasans get a ship. And I'm basically pleased the stats aren't at least visibly OP. The 1.0 shield mod on Cat's vehicles is a little high for escorts still, but hey, it's definitely not the first, or second, ...

Well, the railgun is beyond OP. If it actually worked as it should.
At the moment, it heals enemies for an insane amount (about 16k non-crit at Mk XIV). So imagine it doing that in actual damage every 4 seconds. Yeah, it's not just better than a normal weapon, it's a lot better. When the crit abusers get their hands on it (and when it works), they will probably be doing well over 50k a shot with it.
When you fix it, bump that fire time up to about every 8 seconds or every 10, make it less Overpowered.

So it's a Healing RailGun since it is doing minus 16K damage. *ahem*
