There's no point to it really. Don't know you, don't care what bug got up your behind and I'm quite capable of ignoring anything I want without using the ignore features. You can do the same.
The only things that get put on ignore are the gold spammers who I report whenever they email me or I see them spamming chat.

Hmmm...You definitely are upset about something. I just think the actions you are taking are not the ones that will fix the problems. Removing the symptoms does not cure the disease. And verbally abusing people still is not solving the root problem.
And as far as all the blocking and ignoring things go, that would be the opposite of the professed and displayed general philosophy of Star Trek. Helping those that have a clear need is more in line than ignoring those that need the help. or to paraphrase John Taffert 'Embrace solutions and not excuses'.

Whether you feel you want it or need it, you clearly have a real need. Whether from me or someone else, you clearly are sending all of the signals of needing help from someone.

I never blindly follow people. I always want to know why. Reasoning for actions helps me determine if the course of action is the correct one for my own needs, and for the others that affects it. So far, I have not received any reasons to convince me that what you want is the best course of action, and points more towards doing the opposite as the best course of action.

You know, all of your requests can be implemented by your own actions. Don't want to mingle? Don't. It's quite simple to go about playing the game without once glancing at the shoutbox. I play all the time and only post in the shoutbox if someone needs a little advice or help.
