Punchline- My concern is that stacking the same console as many times as possible tends to be where things break down.
Alternative solution to making +Power consoles more attractive without going too far or inviting stacking antics:
Re-scale the benefits so an [Ultra Rare XIV] gives +10 power. Make the Epic [Mod] for these consoles "+3 maximum power of that type." You create an attractive package with the [Epic XIV] console giving +10 power; +3 maximum power. However, because max power bonuses do not stack you create strong incentive to not equip multiples of the same type.
The Devs may feel this solution steps on the toes of some premium items like the Kelvin Timeline consoles, but really, I feel those items have more than enough oomph to not be threatened by this .
Are other "lesser" universal consoles from lower tier ships, like the Repair Platform for example, going to be looked at during this balance pass? It'd be nice to see if their usefulness could be increased, at least as an alternative to the usual suspects when deciding what to slot.
Are there any plans to make the "Bounty Hunter's Friend" lobi console +all damage resistance rating instead of just +energy damage resistance? I'm not sure if that is a console that would be part of the transition of consoles like the enhanced neutroniums from +energy and kinetic to +all damage resistance.
Regarding the GDF, I am a bit upset that the trait "A good day to die" is kinda useless now, since it is supposed to allow you to use GDF at any given time, it now does not anymore. So I suggest you either let it do it anyways or change it's functionality, since investments are supposedly retaining their value (super lol at that)

The following consoles have had their power bonus doubled and this affects existing copies of these items:
Console - Engineering - Booster Modulator
Console - Engineering - Injector Assembly
Console - Engineering - Field Emitter
Console - Engineering - Plasma Distribution Manifold
you can quintuple the power bonus and they will...still...be...utter...GARBAGE!
because boosting a SINGLE subsystem's power is ALL they do - even on a leveling character, i can think of about a dozen other consoles i would use before EVER touching one of these
now if they had a small secondary bonus like what emergency powers have besides their power boosts...maybe

Can we get a look at the Tactical - Auto Targeting Module, and other Dyson store consoles to at least bring them up to parity with the basic versions of the consoles they're supposed to "upgrade". As it is, I have Epic XIV Auto targeting consoles, and they give +25% "phaser" damage, whereas an epic XIV Tactical - Phaser Relay would give 37.5%. Making this "choice" completely mathematically unsound, regardless of the secondary buffs it gives you.
Just to be clear, I do NOT have a build I use across the bored but i do have alot of alts so using a leech keeps me contributing to the group without having the need for the group to carry me. I spent alot of EC and dil getting them from the exchange and the loxboxes.
And then their is the Plasma consoles, I many run sci or Eng. Regardless i use them on all my ships as use them on mk XIV epic. Thats alot or dil and upgrades to get there for even just 20 toons as I have all the ships and try to mix it up or unlock traits.
I feel very upset as I have spent alot of times for years for working to make the most of my toons and putting a massive change like this rather then small changes (like with mobile games) would be better as you can see the balance easier as you can see when things go to far.
if they wanted to keep multi-stat bonuses on consoles to rep/fleet/lockbox gear, they shot themselves in the foot long ago when they started releasing stuff like the Temporally-Shielded Datacore

Currently, on Tribble, the textures on some plants and hair are rendered incorrectly if both screen-space ambient occlusion (SSAO) and depth of field (DoF) are turned off. (Turning off post-processing will also do it.) To see this bug, turn off both SSAO and DoF, visit Earth Spacedock or Starfleet Academy, and look at the plants and talk to the NPCs. The bug makes it look as though someone colored in the transparent parts of the textures.

Most of the mods on the Engineering - Energy Signature Dampener and Science - Shield Refrequencer are outmatched by regular versions of their respective consoles as well.
