if you decide a casual fleet is for you. I am one of a handful of leaders of casual fleets Fed and KDF side. We don't give orders, there are no mandatory contributions, and the people within the fleet are very helpful players to play for enjoyment. Our K-13's are almost done both sides and each fleet starbase is T4 working towards T5. Our chat in-game is "TenForwardForum" (without the quotes) and my @handle is the same as my forum handle.

Do you have a console group? I've got a couple of recent startup toons that need a home. I make contributions whether mandated or not.

PS4 player and I've just left a fleet (my first fleet) due to changes: all the bad things mentioned above. Was a hard ting for me to do, but I'm much happier having left. I'm a casual player and just want to have fun, enjoy contributing what and when I can, have no demands, etc. I was starting to "hate" the initial fleet about two weeks ago when the demands were made and folks started getting booted. Definitely trust the above folks saying to just leave a fleet if it no longer fits your style. (But now I need to find a new fleet solely because I LOVE contributing and being part of a happy and fun group.)

Not currently. Most of our players play on PC.

Fleets are really about fit. If the personalities in the Fleet and the goals of the Fleet are broadly aligned with yours, then a Fleet is a good fit for you. If they are not, then no matter how nice the people are and how tricked out the Holdings are, a Fleet is a bad fit. Being so means you're not going to enjoy the game as much as you'd like. Unfortunately, there is no current way to find this out until after you join a Fleet. And the bad fit may not be immediately apparent, either. If this happens, leave the Fleet. Don't let it become personal, either. STO is a game. That's all it is. It should not be allowed to become the ruling force of your existence.

Nothing requires that all the members of the founding team stay. I've been helped by others to make my solo fleet and in turn I've helped start three other fleets and promptly left for people who intended to solo theirs.
