t5/6 odessy bug

i am using the t6 science odessy with all 7 consoles and 90% of the time when i deploy the chevron or shuttle they follow for 2 seconds then vanish and will not be recalled unless you sit there with the wheel open and holding the button for 2 recalls minimum. when you try to recall the chevron/shuttle you get the audio of it redocking but nothing else.

just noticed the icon goes through the deployment animation every time you try to redock before it goes through the redocking animation this may explain why it wont redock (it is allways trying to deploy) but does not explain why the aquarius or chevron just dissapear after deployment

It's not just the Odyssey. It is for every saucer seperation and launched support craft such as the Long Range Science Vessel Aerowing and the Multi-Vector Assault mode. I have sent numerous incident reports but all I keep getting is a standard reply stating that it is an unknown issue out of their control and to watch the forums. What I have done though is found a work around. It is a bit fiddly but it works. If you set up multiple Loadout slots changing the Chevron Seperation module for something different, even by equiping the Aquarious Module, you can swap between these loadouts in battle and the Chevron is returned to the main vessel by default when the Aquarious, or whatever you have chosen to replace it with has been slotted. It's not perfect but it's a lot better than not being able to use this function. One point, you cannot change loadout slots when Red Alert is in operation.
