What is your favorite EVENT ship so far?

I tried out the Lukari Science Vessel until level 5 mastery, then moved on. To each their own, but it just didn't move me.
That made me think back on my favorite event ship. I think it would have to be the Risian Luxury Cruiser. That thing was a blast, and it's what my Klingon Engie flew until the Qib was released.
Since Tier 6, if I had a favorite event ship I'd have to say the Chel Boalg. Flown with beams that thing is a lot of fun.
What's your favorite "event" ship?

    The Ambassador was the coolest. Plus you only had to run ONE featured episode 1 time to get it! ;)

    Risian Corvette. Opened so many of those boxes to acquire one and the Risian Cruiser. Wish they'd fix the Corvette console so it doesn't halt your movement every few seconds, and the drooping solar sails on cruiser. Next to those, it'd be a tie between Lukari sci vessel cause it looks so good and always wanted either a fully triangular or saucer shaped ship (and it's sci), or the Sarr Theln Breen Carrier so every alt has a proper carrier even if only to role play around as pets do nothing and don't respond to carrier commands to be worth upgrading to raiders nevermind the cost.

    For T6 ships, the Breen carrier with Plesh Bek frigate pets. It has good space magic seating, is reasonably nimble and tanky, and the frigates do a decent job. The heal-your-pets mastery trait is also nice to have.

    For consoles, I've used the Kobali cruiser insta-heal on many other ships. The Samsar itself is tanky but a space pig that turns like it's swimming through molasses.

    I'd have to say I really like the Vorgon ship from last year's Summer Event.

    Second would have to be the Nandi.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Ambassador Class for me too, not crazy about alien ships.

    Tough choice to make...

    I liked getting the Ambassador back in the good old days since it was my favorite Federation ship just from a "looks" standpoint.

    Enjoyed getting both the Sarr Theln carrier and the Plesh Brek frigates since that is a very good combination which I still use on several characters.

    One cannot discount the usefulness if the Samsar's console. Didn't like the ship, though. Did like the bridge.

    Then there's the recent Vorgon ship... IMO, a very capable design and you can effectively use it with many different builds... some better than others, of course, but solid regardless. I'd love to get ahold of the Vorgon battleship one day.

    I've always liked 'different' things, so I guess it's why I like alien ships. Not that I don't like classic Trek ships too. And I have flown the ambassador. It's quite a tough ship and packs a punch, even in new content.

    I mostly like the Nandi because I can swap to it to access mail/bank/exchange when I don't feel like going to ESD/Drozana/SBs/DS9/etc. The only thing it lacks is a ship selector like I have on my Tufflis.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    My Breen Carrier has a cool trait and is fun to use and one of the least unattractive Breen Ships.

    At T5 Dyson Science ships, yeah I like them.

    For previous Tiers the Ambassador and it's KDF equivilant.

    I have only flown some of the event ships I have collected since I started playing in Jan 2014:

    1. Dyson Science Destroyer
    2. Breen Sarr Theln Carrier
    3. Krenim Science Vessel
    4. Vorgon Xyfius Heavy Escort
    5. Kobali Samsar Cruiser

    Of those I would say I like the Xyfius Heavy Escort the best.

    I have to agree with you about the Dyson ships. My two sci captains who have one do fly them on occasion just to have fun. They really pack a wallop.

    I wish they'd rerun Sphere of Influence and A Step Between Stars as a FE and give us a chance to 'earn' both the Dyson Sci and the Obelisk carrier instead of having to save up lobi for them. Those of us who just don't have the cash to spend take an awfully long time to save anything up *Chuckle*

    For Event Ships, I like the best in these categories:

    Escort: Ferengi Nandi - Solid ship, great console layout. Can put out some really good pain.

    Cruiser: Risian Luxury Cruiser - Has been forgotten about but it had amazing handling and good BOFF layout. A T6 version would be amazing.

    Carrier: Only one released IIRC. It'd have to be the Breen Sar Theln.

    Science Vessel: Krenim Science Vessel - Solid Science Vessel with a nifty trait. The Lukari Science Vessel is a very solid choice but the trait is nowhere near the one from the Krenim ship.

    I'm a Cruiser guy myself, I really like the Breen Rezreth, you can set it up to be a monster and I also think it looks cool. It's big and slow, but it's also nasty.

    Risian Corvette all the way baby! I've gotten the others, and worked them all to T5 mastery, but nothing tops my vette so far.​​

    My favorite will always be Ambassador. I am so excited for the possibility of a T6 one. I hope it happens soon. I hope it has the boff slots of the Sci-Oddy and that it will be 11 console. Maybe in another featured episode. If I could do that as well as earn a Ambassador like cruiser for KDF and RomRep I would be so happy. I don't care if I had to work my butt off for 1000 3 times.

    The Nandi is definitely my favorite. Like everyone, I cringed when I first saw it but it quickly grew on me and it's quite fun to fly. I'd say that the Chel Bolag is the superior ship but I like the Nandi the best.

    Mine would be the Vorgon heavy escort, so hoping next year will be either a Vorgon cruiser carrier for the event. Though I do like the Kobali cruiser's design overall.

    So the Risian Luxury Cruiser is fun? I've got a Phoenix token collecting dust and it's a toss up between the jem ship or the Cruiser.. hmmmm..

    Lots of fun with that ship... others are cool in one way or the other but I think overall I'll side with the obelisk

    The Nandi is my favourite ship, layout-wise. A sci-leaning destroyer with 4-4 and decent turn rate. Just a shame it's so ugly.

    Corvette for me..it ignited my love of insane builds and nothing can beat the thrill of hitting 2.3k impulse in Qo'nos orbit (sadly now not achievable, darn stealthy speed nerfs) and the joy of 300 impulse constant that brought new meaning to 'speed tank', goading bug pilots in kerrat to waste their alphas

    ...and the time I had a kerrat instance in stitches by getting every fed to chase my corvette whilst typing the lyrics to 'stop the pigeon' in zone chat :3

    Pilot seat t6 corvette when?

    Probably the Chell Boalg and maybe the Vorgon Xyfius. I have only had those two and the Krenim Sci, the Rezreth, and the Ho'Kunn.

    1. Romulan Dyson Destroyer: One of the best looking Romulan ships. I really hope we get a new endgame version of at least the Romulan Dysons one.
    2. Risan Corvette. Cool design, with a fun niche: Speed.
    3. Breen Chel Boalg/Grett: Just love the Breen design since DS9.
    Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

    Dyson destroyer/science ship. It was a cool concept but got poor implementation with the proton weapons, mixed proton consoles, and fixed proton gun.

    Odyssey and Bortas from the 2nd anniversary. 5 minute mission and I used those two beasts for a very long time. Overlooked, overshadowed and underappreciated.

    I've only earned one so far, the breen Razreth from the most recent winter wonderland event. It's far more effective than the free Sovereign ship you get as you develop your fed rank. That it's got fighters is a nice addition. it looks like a spikey space lobster with all its aysymetrical design and pointy bits; it's pretty ugly but it looks very mean! Chuck some manouverability boosting space traits and equpiment on it and it can be nippy, punchy and quite tough. And most importantly, fun!

    Yeah. I love the Rezreth. But it wasn't from the most recent WW, the Chel Boalg was what was given at the most recent one. And it's a pretty mean beast as well.
